Description
PURPOSE: The Headquarters Air Force Services Agency (HQ AFSVA), Directorate of Management Systems, Plans and Requirements Division is seeking sources to provide a hardware/software solution for Payment Card Industry (PCI) Compliant Intrusion Prevention system/Intrusion Detection System (IPS/IDS) in support of an enterprise lodging operations/POS system. AFSVA understands that any number provided by vendors will be a best estimate based on the limited information provided. GENERAL INFORMATION: This is a Request for Information (RFI). AFSVA seeks the ability to utilize an intrusion-detection system, and/or intrusion-prevention system to monitor all traffic in the cardholder data environment and alert personnel to suspected compromises; all intrusion-detection and prevention engines should be kept up-to-date. Sources and preliminary pricing are being sought to: Provide a Hardware/Software solution that provides IPS/IDS services. Solution must meet the following criteria at a minimum: - Must integrate with Cisco Networking Equipment - Must meet all PCI Data Security Standard requirements for IPS/IDS solution to include at a minimum monitoring of all critical points in the cardholder network and alerting personnel of suspected compromises. - Must have identical solution set up at both Data Centers ((B 499 -AFPC (Randolph AFB) and B171 (Lackland AFB)) - Must have reporting capabilities - Must include full installation services for a "turn-key" solution: assessment of network, initial set-up and configuration, discovery of traffic flow and services, adjustment of configuration as necessary for optimal performance, and testing. - Must include necessary training for individuals that will be maintaining devices - Must include 24/7 Call in support - Must include within 24 hour response time for on-site support AFSVA is seeking to obtain a technical solution to meet the requirement in support of an enterprise lodging operations/POS system and a cost estimate for this solution. THIS ACTION WILL NOT RESULT IN CONTRACT AWARD. THIS RFI IS FOR INFORMATION GATHERING ONLY.
