Synopsis Y222 Construct/highways-rods-streets-bridges 237310 SOLICITATION NO. W9127S-11-R-0009 This proposed procurement is unrestricted. Date of issue for the solicitation will be on or about March 14, 2011, on www.fbo.gov. Proposals will be due on or about April 14, 2011. The solicitation will be issued as a Request for Proposal Lowest Priced Technically Acceptable. You must be registered with the FBO website to download the solicitation documents. NO CD's OR HARD COPIES WILL BE MADE AVAILABLE. It is therefore the contractor's responsibility to check the ASFI website daily for any posted changes. Offerors are responsible for checking the referenced page for any update(s) to this notice. The work consists of Bridge construction with a maximum height above ground of 75' to include installation of an estimated 4400 LF of HP12X53 steel piling, pier columns, caps and footing, steel rolled beams and plate girders of varying length both straight and curved, 887 feet of 16'-wide deck bridge deck, 263 linear feet 16'-wide, concrete-surfaced approach ramp supported by mechanically-stabilized-earth (MSE) walls with compacted select fill, asphalt over compacted base bicycle path, decorative security fencing, lighting and turf. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 237310, with a size standard of $33.5 million. The location of the work will be at Murray Lock and Dam Pedestrian/Bicycle Bridge (Pulaski County, Arkansas). The magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.00.
