- Description
- The General Services Administration (GSA), Public Buildings Service (PBS), Region 3, South Service Center, Baltimore Field Office intends to compete a requirement for a five year (one base year with two (2) year option years for a total of five years) Elevator Inspection Services Contract covering four buildings in downtown Baltimore, MD and four buildings at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Service (CMS) Campus in Woodlawn, MD. ***ALL PROPOSALS SHALL BE SENT TO THE FOLLOWING ADDRESS: ATTN: LINDSAY GOTTSCHALL GSA 101 W. LOMBARD ST SUITE 7625 BALTIMORE, MD 21201 The locations of performance are: 1. Edward A. Garmatz Federal Courthouse 101 W. Lombard St. Baltimore, MD 21201 2. Fallon Federal Building 31 Hopkins Plaza Baltimore, MD 21201 3. U. S. Custom House 40 S. Gay St Baltimore, MD 21202 4. U. S. Appraisers Store 103 S. Gay St Baltimore, MD 21202 5. CMS Campus - North, South, Center and Warehouse Buildings 7500 Security Blvd Woodlawn, MD 21244 General Description of Scope of Services: The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, supervision and equipment for complete required elevator inspection services. The contract duration is 1 base year with two (2) year option periods for a total of 5 years. According to ANSI a17.1.10 and ASME a17.1.10 five year load tests require the brake to be able to stop and hold a car loaded to 125% of rated load. Annual safety tests require inspection of equipment and general performance of an elevator. All work is to be performed in accordance with this statement of work, line items, applicable codes and regulations and accepted industry standards. The applicable NAICS code is 541350, Building Inspection Services, and the small business size standard is $7 million. In accordance with 19.502-2(b), the anticipated contract will be competed as a total 100% small business set-aside. The anticipated contract will be procured utilizing the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable source selection procedures as described in FAR PART 15.101-2. The lowest price technically acceptable source selection process is appropriate when best value is expected to result from selection of the technically acceptable proposal with the lowest evaluated price. ***ALL PROPOSALS SHALL BE SENT TO THE FOLLOWING ADDRESS: ATTN: LINDSAY GOTTSCHALL GSA 101 W.
