Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is VA-261-11-RQ-0125 for a POWERROOM+ Powerhouse Roomate Plus Voice Activated Environmental Control System (includes unlimited IR Control as well as X10 and Voice Activated Telephone and switch option). This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The simplified acquisition procedures of FAR Part 13 will be used in conjunction with commercial items procedures of FAR Part 12. NAICS code is 334119, size standard is 1,000 employees. Solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-49 and VA Acquisition Circulars through January 24, 2011. Replacement of material and parts will be furnished to the Government at the point of installation, if installation is within the continental United States or f.o.b. the continental U.S. port to be designated by the contracting officer if installation is outside of the continental United States. Cost of installation of replacement material and parts shall be borne by the contractor.
