Description
NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center - Norfolk Contracting Department,Norfolk Naval Shipyard Maritime Industrial Division requires rental of industrial blast equipment consisting of 1050 CFM Oil Free Compressor, 8 Ton Blast Pot, 9000 CFM Dehumidifier, 10,000 CFM Dust Collector, 200 HP Electric Vacuum Loader. Rental Period is for approx. 64 days beginning 3/14/2011. Full equipment specifications shall be provided in the written solicitation. This requirement shall be processed as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The request for quote number is N00189-11-T-N031 and the NAICS Classification is 532412, small business size standard is $7M. By submission of a quote, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that prospective awardees must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for award to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make a contractor ineligible for award. Contractors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-999-227-2423, or via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. By submitting a quote, the vendor will be self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer. The NECO website has a "submit bid" button next to the solicitation number.
