Description
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center,Oklahoma City intends to award a one year Purchase Order for the following: Manufacturer: NimsoftPart Number: NIMBSP101-500-09Description: Basic Server PackQuantity: 393 Manufacturer: NimsoftPart Number: NIMBSPM101-500-09Description: Basic Server PackQuantity: 393 Please see the attached Request for Quote (RFQ) form and Statement of Work (SOW) for additional information. The anticipated date of award is March 15th, 2011 or sooner. The anticipated period of performance is one year from date of award. This is a Request for Offer. All offers are due by 3:00 p.m., Central Standard Time, on February 25th, 2011. Quotes shall be submitted by facsimile at (405) 954-9468 or e-mail (preferred) at monica.rudolph@faa.gov. Please reference RFQ DTFAAC-11-03162. If your company is qualified to fulfill this requirement but you do not feel that you have adequate time to prepare a proposal, please contact the Contract Specialist before the due date to request an extension. The Request for Quote form is attached to this solicitation. If you are viewing this solicitation through www.FBO.gov, the Request for Quote document may not be available/viewable. Please proceed to the FAA Contract Opportunity's website at faaco.faa.gov to view the attached Request for Quote document. At this time the nature of the competition has not been determined. The FAA may decide to do a full and open competition or set aside all or part of the procurement for small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses or eligible socially and economically disadvantaged businesses that are certified by the SBA for participation in the SBA's 8(a) Program. All questions pertaining to this solicitation must be addressed in writing to the Contract Specialist, Monica Rudolph, at e-mail address, monica.rudolph@faa.gov or mailing address FAA, Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center, Aviation, Medical & Training Division (AMQ-310), P.O. Box 25082, Oklahoma City, OK 73125. NO PHONE CALLS, PLEASE. This RFQ is not to be construed as a contract or a commitment of any kind. The Government shall not be liable for payment of any costs attributed to the preparation and submission of proposals. Therefore any cost associated with the proposal submission is solely at the interested vendor's expense. Proposals from unsuccessful offerers will not be returned to the offerer. Proposal originals will be retained in the contract file. The Contracting Officer will destroy all other copies. Only one proposal from each offerer shall be considered. The FAA reserves the right to reject, as unacceptable, proposals deleting or altering technical requirements. Prior to award of a purchase order, all contractors must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration, www.ccr.gov. This Notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises. The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
