Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 11, in accordance with FAR 6.302.1 (only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Security Corporation, 22325 Roethel Dr., Novi, MI 48375. This service is for preventive maintenance and unlimited emergency repairs on the Government owned Hirsch Security System for the VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System, 2215 Fuller Road, Ann Arbor, MI 48105 for the period of date of award through September 30, 2011 with one (1) additional one (1) year option period. NAICS 561621, size standards $12.5 million applies. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. It is not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is available. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses must be received no later than 3:00 pm on March 17, 2011. No telephone or email inquiries will be accepted. All responses must be mailed to VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System, Attn; Kristina Gandy (54C), 2215 Fuller Road, Ann Arbor, MI 48105.
