Description
Performance Work Statement Capability survey with questionnaire SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS Pre-Induction Inspection This market survey is being conducted to identify potential sources that may possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to provide for the development and documentation of aircraft maintenance procedures for new operations arising from recently constructed maintenance cycles. The level of security clearance and amount of foreign participation in this requirement has not been determined. Contractors/Institutions responding to this market research are placed on notice that participation in this survey may not ensure participation in future solicitations or contract awards. The government will not reimburse participants for any expenses associated with their participation in this survey. We are conducting a market research to identify potential sources that may possess the expertise, capabilities and experience to assist in improving aircraft condition knowledge prior to scheduled programmed depot maintenance (PDM) through Pre-Induction Inspections (PIIs), see the attached PWS. These full aircraft pre-inspections will be conducted at home station six to nine months out of scheduled maintenance to identify discrepancies and fixable solutions. Identifying early requirements will help improve efficiencies while at the depot and get the aircraft back out to the field and to the war fighter faster. Each day less at the depot equates to another day of aircraft availability. Prospective SB contractors only to include HUBzone, SDVOSB, 8A, and WOSB(no large businesses) should respond IAW with the attached Capability Survey not later than 22 March 2011.
