- PUGET SOUND NAVAL SHIPYARD AND INTERMEDIATE MAINTANANCE FACILITY (PSNS & IMF) Annual requirements for Barge Surveys and inspections as mandated by title 46 of the U.S. Code of Federal Regulations. The Government intends to award a contract on a sole source basis, per 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), Only one responsible source, and FAR Part6.302, with American Bureau of Shipping, Americas (ABS), located at ABS Plaza 16855 Northchase Drive, Houston, TX 77060. This notice is published for informational purposes only. No additional sources are being sought a this time. Services shall include field surveys, dry-docking surveys, and associated technical documentation. Contract awarded is intended to be for a one-year base, with 4 one-year options periods, beginning 1 May 2011 ending 30 April 2016. Inspection and acceptance of services shall be at destination, and all deliverables shall FOB to Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, Bremerton, WA 98314. Requests for information may be emailed to alan.g.wall@navy.mil, Contracting Officer at NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Bremerton WA. 98314. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or quotation which shall be considered by PSNS & IMF. This Pre-solicitation notice and any subsequent solicitation and accompanying amendments will be posted to the NECO website at: http//www.neco.navy.mil. Perspective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation and for monitoring that site for any amendments. The Government is not responsible for any inability of the offeror to access the posted documents and attachments. No telephone or fax requests will be accepted, and no hard-copy solicitation or amendments will be mailed, faxed or otherwise provided by the Government.
