- The following is a pre-solicitation synopsis of a proposed contracting action in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.201. This is not a request for proposals and no responses will be made to requests for solicitation documents. The solicitation is estimated to be issued on or about 11 March 2011 and will be posted to the Government Point of Entry at http://www.fbo.gov. Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Center Fort Bragg has a requirement for building renovations on Pope AFB, NC: Description of Services: The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, transportation, labor to include, but not limited to, tools, materials, and supplies, to renovate dormitories 282, 284, 286, 288, AND 298. The Contractor shall also provide onsite project management during all phases of work. The dormitories are located at Pope AFB, North Carolina. The acquisition is a Total Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB) set aside. The Government anticipates awarding a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP), contract as a result of this solicitation. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236118. The Small Business size standard for this project is $33.5 Mil. Solicitation W91247-11-B-0007 (IFB) will be issued on or about 11 March 2011. The magnitude of the construction project is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. All bids shall be provided as specified in the solicitation. A notification will be issued on the Army Single Face Industry (AFSI) website at: https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/. No paper copies will be provided. Prospective bidders interested in submitting a bids on this solicitation must have a Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code and are reminded in accordance with DFARS Clause 252.204-7004, Alternate A; Central Contractor Registration (Sep 2007). Inactive registration on the CCR database will make a prospective bidder ineligible for award consideration.
