- Description
- The scope of this project is to construct an approximately 2800 square foot recreational facility for the Pipeline Dormitory students. Estimated price range is between $500,000 to $1,000,000. The project will contain the following option: 1. Move West Wall. The solicitation is a single phase procurement following the low cost technically acceptable process. Proposals will be evaluated based on the following technical factors: Experience, Past Performance, Safety and Price and Pro Forma Requirements. The Contracting Officer will award a firm fixed price contract to the responsible offeror whom the Source Selection Authority determines conforms to the solicitation and is technically acceptable, is fair and reasonable, and offers the lowest price to the Government. The acquisition strategy will be design-bid-build, and the estimated award date is May 2011. All Offerors are invited to attend a Site Visit at Wright-Patterson AFB tentatively scheduled for 22 March 2011. Meeting details will be provided in the solicitation. NAICS is 236220 with a size standard of $33.5 Million. Contract duration is approximately 210 calendar days. The solicitation is limited to general small business. Approximate issue date is 11 March 2011 and approximate closing date is 12 April 2011 at 2:00 p.m. eastern standard time. The solicitation will be available by download only. Downloads are available only through the Federal Business Opportunities - FedBizOpps - website at http://www.fbo.gov. This announcement serves as the Advanced Notice for this project.
