- The Sioux Falls VA Medical Center is preparing to receive offers for a Construction Project issued as a Request for Proposals (RFP) to Provide all labor, material, equipment, expert supervision to REPLACE 30,000 GALLON FUEL TANK Project Number VA-438-11-101 at the VAMC, 2501 West 22nd Street, Sioux Falls, SD 57105. This project is to provide all materials, labor, and equipment necessary to install a new 30,000 gal fuel tank and reclaim area after the State of South Dakota removes the old tank at a later date. Work will include, but is not limited to installation of the new tank, temporary connections for transfer of existing fuel, reclamation of old tank area, and addition of new sensors to the existing monitoring system. The estimated cost of this contract is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. This procurement is 100% set-aside for SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS (SDVOSB). All bidders must be registered in CCR at http://www.ccr.gov, ORCA at https://orca.bpn.gov/, AND at VETBIZ http://www.vetbiz.gov to be eligible for award. NAICS 237120 applies-size standard is $33.5 million. Bid Bond will be required in the amount of 20% of bid, and Performance and Payment bonds will be required. Specifications will be uploaded on or about March 10, 2011.
