Description
THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFMORAMTIONAL PURPOSES ONLY UNDER THE PATIENT PROTECTION AND AFFORDABLE CARE ACT - PREVENTION AND PUBLIC HEALTH FUND The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) intends to issue a competitive task order against an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Contract for Management Consultation and Technical Assistance (MCAT) services. This opportunity is available to five (5) contractors (A + Government Solutions, Inc., Carter Consulting, Inc., The Cloudburst Group, SciMetrika, LLC, and Synthesis Professional Services, Inc) under the Management Consultation and Technical Assistance multiple award contract, which was previously competed and awarded in 2009. Technical Assistance Management of NCIRD funded grants Support for the Office of the Director (OD), Immunization Services Division (ISD), National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases (NCIRD). The objective of this task order is to obtain assistance in managing ISD/OD, NCIRD supported grants and cooperative agreements. Assistance provided will include providing technical assistance, scientific, operational, analytical and decision support, necessary to support the ISD/OD, NCIRD funded grants and cooperative agreements that focus on 1) enhancing school-located vaccination capacity school-located vaccination (SLV) capacity and 2) enhancing partnerships to improve adult immunization. ISD provides technical and administrative assistance to state and local health departments, national partner organizations, provider organizations, and other organizations, including other federal agencies, in the consideration and implementation of immunization programs for the public and private sectors. The tasks under this contract will be conducted in support of ISD's mission, to protect individuals and communities from vaccine-preventable diseases through provision of federal funds and contracts to purchase vaccine, the provision of technical and financial support of immunization programs, provider and public education, and evaluation and research. The Office of the Director, ISD provides specific technical assistance related to program development, implementation, and evaluation. Period of Performance: 12 months Anticipated Date of Award: On or before March 31, 2011 This is not a request for competitive proposals, nor is a solicitation available.
