- Description
- The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intend to award a sole source firm fixed price contract to Measurement Technology NW located in Seattle, WA for a Thermal Manikin. Measurement Technology's thermal manikin is unique in the industry because of its high-resolution 34-zone format. The number of zones will provide the Government necessary detailed regional information on the thermal performance of garments and protective clothing required for our research. This contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 and 10 USC 2304( c)(1). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
