Description

QUESTION (1): Are you looking for a single disk duplicator that can work with both SATA and PATA, or can we suggest independent units, each with its own (PATA or SATA) interface? ANSWER (1): The Army needs a SINGLE disk duplicator that can work with PATA, SATA and Solid State (IDE) drives. QUESTION (2): Is it satisfactory to supply a USB duplicator for the express purpose of copying SDML's to similar SDML devices and not to a HDD? ANSWER (2): The Army needs a single disk duplicator that can work with PATA, SATA and Solid State (IDE) drives. In addition, the same disk duplicator shall have the capability to copy the Army's Secure Mission Data Loader (SMDL), a USB thumb drive device, to another similar SMDL or to a TARGET hard drive(s). QUESTION (3): When is the cutoff for submitting a response to the RFI? ANSWER (3): 24 February 2011.
