This change is due to the extension for submitting proposal has been extended to 2 Mar 11 at 4:00 p.m. AST. The below are in response to questions recieved: Question 1. What should we estimate for a sludge quantity generated at each location since we are required to submit a unit price bid that includes the off-site transportation and disposal of sludge? Response: Each facility has a variation due to usage therefore we cannot provide an exact amount of sludge generated Question 2. Would you like us to provide a per gallon price for transportation and disposal of "non-regulated" sludge under CLIN 0004? Response: No because this is a NTE CLIN Question 3. When was the last testing performed on the waste and are the results available? Can we assume all sites are "non-regulated?" Response: Quarterly inspections were performed through 31 Dec 10. The results are not available. Please refer to PWS 1.3.1 and 1.3.2 in concerns to the sites being "non-regulated." Question 4. When were the systems cleaned the last time? This impacts the amount of time our initial cleanings will take on this contract. Response: Systems were last cleaned/inspected quarterly and were conducted through 31 Dec 10. Question 5. Section 1.3 refers to 5 sites that are to be serviced monthly but the Inventory only refers to 2 sites. The 2 sites coincides with the 162 number on CLIN0001. If it is the 5 sites this becomes 168. Which is correct? Response: Please see revised PWS paragraph 1.3. and Attachment 2 Inventory dated 25 Feb 11. Question: 6. Is the contractor responsible for labor and/or equipment to load the dewatering roll-off? Response: Yes. Question 7. (----has there been a related contract in regards to these OWS's and could I submit a functional request for that dollar amount?) Response: There is no history due to this being a new requirement.
