Description
Draft Basic Ordering Agreement This Sources Sought Notice is for information and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or an obligation on the part of the Government. The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Rural Development (RD), in Montana is requesting letters of interest / capability statements from qualified firms to act as Trustee Agent for non-judicial foreclosures in the State of Montana. Foreclosures will be conducted in accordance with applicable federal, state and local law; including, but not limited to Montana Code Annotated 2009, Title 71, Mortgages, Pledges, and Liens, Chapter 1, Part 3, Small Tract Financing. A draft version of a sample Basic Ordering Agreement is attached. Letters of interest / capability statements shall identify if respondents are a Small Disadvantaged Business, 8(a), Women-Owned Small Business, Historically Underutilized Business Zone Business, Veteran-Owned Small Business, or Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business. Interested parties shall state the geographical area they are capable of performing; i.e., statewide, NE Montana, Gallatin and Park Counties, etc. Contractors shall be licensed in the State of Montana to practice law and maintain professional insurance coverage to include coverage for director's and officer's errors and omissions and fidelity insurance in the amount of $250,000 or more for all individuals who will have access to funds used in the actions required under this contract.
