Description
pull out frames graphic elevation question and answer matrix text for amendment T11SOL10004A - Amendment # 4 for Smithsonian Institution, National Postal Museum February 25, 2011 1. Files attached with amendment #4 -Pull out frames - graphic elevation -Question and Answer Matrix 2. Revised bid drawings to be provided on 2-28-2011 The bid drawings have been revised to include several changed notes about materials as well as some new dimensions and clarifications. All changes/updates have been indicated with bubbles for easy reference. The intent of this revised drawing set is to replace the previously issued bid drawings. One change in this package is the addition of steel tubing rather than aluminum tubing throughout. Another change in this package is a change to 1/8" glass rather than ¼" glass for all of the pull out frames. Please note that in the detail drawings, this change is not reflected in the scale of the actual detail drawing, but is only a changed notation. The selected contractor would be responsible for developing the revised drawing detail for this revised glass thickness that still maintains the outer dimensions of the frame. All other notes and changes not mentioned in this paragraph are bubbled in the revised bid drawings for easy reference." The revised drawings will be posted on FedBizOpps.gov on 2-28-2011. 3. Delete any reference to SI/NPM quality standards Delete any reference to quality standards of the National Postal Museum ("SI/NPM"). There were no SI/NPM standards provided with the solicitation.
