- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 17 Dallas Contract office intends make a sole source award to MIM Software (MIMvista Coporation) to provide all parts, labor, and zone fees for preventitive maintenance and for all other repairs not routine preventative maintenance to include all software upgrades on Government owned MIMista Corporation software and hardwear. MIMvista Coporation shall provide all operating system security patches within 48 hours after vendor have approved all patches for their software. The Statutory Authority for this sole source purchase is FAR 6.302-1 and 24 CFR 85.36(d)(4). The applicable NAICS Code is 511210 with a size standard of $25M. A Justification and Approval to procure using other than full and open competition is available upon request. This is a notice of our intent to sole source this requirement and is not a solicitation or a request for competitive proposal. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses must be received no later than March 7, 2011 at 8:00 am EST by sending an e-mail. All interested parties, must be registered in Central Contracting Registration (CCR) database. This notice is for informational purposes only. ***No response to this special notice is necessary*** Questions may be directed to Robert Blake, Contract Specialist via e-mail at Robert.Blake@va.gov. however, any data received will be for the sole purpose of market research for future proposes.
