- Description
- The Charlie Norwood Veterans Medical Center, intends to negotiate sole source procurement with Caduceus Health Care, 260 Peachtree Street, Suite 2200, Atlanta, GA 30303. The proposed contract action is for temporary staffing consultative services to support all aspects of the human resources management program for Nursing Services, for a 60 day period of performance. The Contractor will have a minimum of 5 years of successful VA experience in HR Specialist/Senior Management positions. The Contractor will have broad and extensive knowledge of VA HR Title 38 processes and programs that includes classification, staffing, recruitment and placement, employee/labor relations, incentive awards, orientation, and disciplinary and termination actions. Justification for this sole source procurement is in accordance with FAR 6.302-5, Authorized by or required by stature, Pursuant to 38 U.S.C. 8127 (c), contracting officers may use procedures other than competitive (including sole source awards) for contracts to SDVOSBs and VOSBs where the anticipated award price will exceed the Simplified Acquisition Procedures threshold, but not exceed $5,000.000 (including options). This is not a request for quotes. No solicitation documents will be issued. Firms that believe they can meet the VA's requirements must submit proof to the Contracting Officer no later than February 28, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. local time. All information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
