- This Solicitation is for SIR number DTFACT-11-R-00001 This is a small business set-aside, whose task-order award preference is further described in the Solicitation. Please see the attached Application package for further details. This Notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000. The FAA William J Hughes Technical Center located at the Atlantic City Int'l Airport, NJ is establishing a Qualified Vendor List (QVL) for construction contractors for future construction work in the area of General Contraction, Sitework and Paving, Mechanical and Plumbing, Electrical, Building Automation, Testing Laboratories and Surveying and Mapping (except Geophysical) Services and/or combination thereof. Contractors must be classified as either a Small Business and located within a 50 mile radius of the FAA William J. Hughes Technical Center (WJHTC). This Screening Information Request (SIR) seeks to pre-qualify construction contractors for future construction procurements within the William J. Hughes Technical Center. Contractors included in the Qualified Vendor List(s) (QVLs), will, in the future, be eligible to receive requests for proposals and subsequent contract awards on construction work with an estimated cost of $10,000.00 up to $100,000.00. At the discretion of the Contracting Officer, a qualified Contractor on the list may be awarded a contract with limited competition thru a streamlined acquisition procedure. Contractor's previously qualified under QVL # DTFACT-07-R-00016 must send a written confirmation to the Contracting Officer of their desire to remain on the QVL. Any contractor who does not respond to the request for confirmation by the submission due date will be removed from the QVL. Offeror's must provide their qualification and submission requirements listed in section L of the solicitation along with the business declaration form, the SF1442 form (blocks 14-16 and 20A-C) and the Appendix A Past Performance Questionnaire to the following address: FAA William J.
