- Description
- This notice is being published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 5.101 requiring the dissemination of information for proposed contract actions. This is a notice of intent to award a sole-source contract and is not a request for competitive proposals. The statutory authority for this sole-source procurement is U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. The National Ground Intelligence Center (NGIC), under the contracting authority of the U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM) intends to issue a sole-source, firm fixed price, purchase order to Cambridgesoft Corporation for software maintenance services for software Chemoffice Ultra. Chemoffice Ultra is proprietary to Cambridgesoft Corporation, 101 Billerica Avenue, Building 5 / Suite 204, Billerica, MA 01862. Software maintenance support services for this application require expertise, including support from the application developers, due to the complexity of NGIC's networks. The software maintenance support services are required to support an existing Chemoffice Ultra inventory. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government shall consider all responses received within three days of this posting. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Written responses to this synopsis shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bona fide capability to fulfill the requirement. The National Ground Intelligence Center will not be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice. Please e-mail Tom Bickley with responses or questions regarding this requirement at William.t.bickley@us.army.mil. This notice will close on 4 March 2011, 05:00 PM EST.
