- Description
- This solicitation is to upgrade the GE Proficy iFix Software on the LDS systems at several hydropower facilities. The work will consist of upgrading existing iFix licenses used on the LDS systems for the SCADA and control systems for the Allatoona, Buford, Carters, West Point, Walter F. George, Millers Ferry, Jones Bluff, Jim Woodruff power plants. The current versions in use vary from iFix 3.0 to 3.5. Additionally, various options will be added to existing licenses already at the latest iFix version. It is anticipated that a fixed Price contract will be awarded. This procurement is restricted to only GE Fanuc authorized North American sources for Proficy iFix products. The small business NAICS code is 334611. The solicitation will only be issued as a direct download at the flowing website Https://www.fbo.gov on or about 2 March 2011. All prospective contractors, subcontractors and suppliers must be registered in Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) before they will be allowed to download solicitation information. The solicitation will not be provided in a printed paper format. Therefore, it is the bidder's responsibility to check the website for solicitation posting and any changes to the solicitation.
