- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. A WRITTEN SOLICITATION IS PROVIDED. The 409th CSB Theater Contracting Center intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract for a total of Seventeen (17) Rental Vehicles, brand name or equal a 12-month period of performance. Rental vehicles consist of: (1) 7-Passenger Vans, 7 each; (2) 9-Passenger Vans, 2 each; (3) Sedan/ 4 Doors, 7 each; and (4) Cargo Van, 1 each. Specific detail of the vehicle specification shall be included in the Request for Quote (RFQ) number W912CM-11-T-0068 provided as an attachment to this synopsis. The RFQ closing date shall be 17 March 2011. This acquisition is being procured on a full and open competition basis using Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 and Part 13.5. Delivery of the rental vehicle shall be F.O.B. Destination, Nathan Hale Depot, GEB 4107 Sheppallee 95, Darmstadt, Germany 64295. The estimated rental period of performance shall be for 12 Months starting 1 April 2011. The Department of Defense requires all contractors to register in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database to receive a contract award or payment. The CCR website is: http://www.ccr.gov. In accordance with FAR 4.1201, prospective contractors shall complete electronic annual representation and certification via the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) at: http://orca.bpn.gov in conjunction with the required registration in the CCR database. All responsive sources may submit a quote that will be considered by the agency. Responses must include all information requested in the written RFQ.
