Description

Disregard Emergency Management in title, title should read Install New Energy Management System at VAMC. Contractor shall completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures, and furnish labor, materials and equipment necessary to perform work for project 538-11-111, entitled "Install New Energy Management System at VAMC" at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Chillicothe, Ohio, as required by drawings and specifications. The work includes but is not limited to general construction and installation of equipment necessary as shown and specified. Work to be completed with 180 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. Plans, specifications, and drawings will be available on line o/a March 18, 2011. Estimated cost range is between $500,000 - $1,000,000. A pre-bid-conference will be held at 10:00 a.m. (local time) Wednesday, March 30, 2011 in Building 1, Room 121 at the VA Medical Center, 17273 State Route 104, Chillicothe, Ohio; all prospective contractors, subcontractors and suppliers are urged to attend. This will be the only site visit scheduled for this project. Bid opening Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at 2:30 p.m. (local time). This project is 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business. NAICS 237130.
