- Questions: 1) What is the incoming pressure of argon? Normally we work with a 30psi coming in and turn it down to where we need it to make the atmosphere work. 2) Normally, when we have an inert atmosphere unit, we include a rapid cool down on the system. When we go to cool down, the inlet and exhaust dampers open and air is forced through the system. Can this be included or should it be removed from our standard design? Answers: 1) Line pressure in our argon distribution system is 60 PSI. 2) Paragraph 4.0 requires that the oven be a current production model as described in currently published literature. If that is a feature of the manufacturer's standard design and is not published as an option then it must be included.
