Small Business Set-Aside: Total Small Business
Description: (i)This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii)This RFQ and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-49. (iii)This solicitation is a total small business set-aside, NAICS 811111, General Automotive Repairs with a small business size standard of $7.0 million. The National Park Service encourages the participation of small, disadvantaged, and women-owned businesses. (iv)The Government intends to issue a fixed-price, purchase order to the responsible offeror whose total offer represents the best value for the Government. The National Park Service (NPS) is seeking a qualified contractor with specialized experience with repairing a 2007 Silverado 1500 4wd Regular Cab (VIN:1GCEK14C67Z597882). The contractor shall provide the following repairs: 1.Transportation of unit: Tow vehicle from Gateway National Recreation Area, Sandy Hook Unit, Bldg. 130, 130 Hartshorne Dr., Ft. Hancock, NJ 07732.2.Replace front differential assembly.3.Replace front drive shaft assembly.4.Replace transmission assembly.5.Replace neutral safety switch.6.Upon completion of repairs, the Government will pick up the vehicle within a 25 mile distance from GATEWAY NRA, BLDG. 130, 130 HARTSHORNE DR., FT. HANCOCK, NJ 07732.7.A MINIMUM warranty for 12 months / 12,000 miles on all parts and labor is requested.8.ALL REPLACEMENT PARTS TO BE NEW ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT MANUFACTURER.9.ALL LABOR AND MATERIALS MUST BE INCLUDED IN THE PRICE. (v) LOCATION: Gateway National Recreation Area, Sandy Hook Unit, Bldg. 130, 130 Hartshorne Dr., Ft. Hancock, NJ 07732. (vi)SCHEDULE of SUBMISSIONS: One (1) invoice must be submitted after successful performance, delivery, and acceptance. (vii)SCHEDULE: Contractor shall pick up / tow vehicle from Gateway NRA, Sandy Hook Unit, Bldg. 130, 130 Hartshorne Dr., Ft. Hancock, NJ 07732, while coordinating with on-site Park Personnel prior to pickup. The Contractor shall supply copies of the type of material, quantity, pickup/delivery date and contract number attached to corresponding invoices. (viii)DOCUMENTS TO BE INCLUDED IN QUOTE: 1.A firm fixed price quote, provided on the attached bid schedule.2.Three (3) references of the proposed services within the past three to five years.3.Name, phone number, and address of your point of contact. 4.Proof of CCR Registration. (ix)The Government contemplates the award of a single purchase order on a "low-price-technically-acceptable" basis. A technically acceptable business will meet or exceed the following criteria: 1.The offeror shall demonstrate at least three (3) to five (5) years of successfully completing services of a similar type.2.The offeror shall demonstrate satisfactory performance completing truck repair services. (x)A written notice of award or acceptance of an offer mailed or otherwise furnished to the successful offeror within the time for acceptance specified in the offer, shall result in a binding contract without further action by either party. Before the offer's specified expiration time, the Government may accept an offer (or part of an offer), whether or not there are negotiations after its receipt, unless a written notice of withdrawal is received before award.
