Description
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) intends to award a firm fixed price contract for a period of 12 months to MKS, Inc. These services are currently being provided by a small business who can no longer provide these services. CMS will continue to seek small business opportunities for future services. CMS has implemented a configuration management (CM) process and methodology throughout the enterprise. This required implementing a solution that provided a consistent method for developing quality applications. CMS purchased MKS Integrity Solution as the mid-tier software configuration management tool. CMS requires the consulting support services equivalent to MKS Integrity Product Mentoring (Part# RCL09) with technical expertise in providing support with the CMS infrastructure. Additional services include: -Provide training and mentoring services to build up CMS and their contractor's ability to support and administer the MKS Integrity Suite. -Provide process consulting to facilitate the development and implementation of workflows. Workflows may include migration of releases from development through production. -Assist CMS in the creation of technical customizations such as scripts, triggers and reports to implement unique business/process rules. -Provide on-site mentoring, knowledge transfer and best practices relating to the MKS Integrity Suite. -Provide technical implementation services to install and configure the interface between Remedy and MKS Integrity Suite for the unique business needs of the CMS. This is not a request for proposal (RFP). Interested parties shall respond with a capability statement confirming the ability to support MKS Integrity Solution no later than Thursday, March 10, 2011. Please send capability statement to javina.wilkinson@cms.hhs.gov and joseph.pressley@cms.hhs.gov.
