- QA133W-11-RP-0079 Wage Determination This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a vendor to provide a vessel charter which will be used to conduct at-sea maintenance and knowledge sharing in support of the missions of the NOAA National Data Buoy Center and NOAA Office of Oceanic and Atmospheric Research off the coast of Arica, Chile. This work supports and directly strategically aligns with NDBC's mission to improve technical expertise in oceanographic mooring deployments. This work directly aligns and supports NDBC's mission to deliver observational data to two (2) of NDBC's sponsoring customers. This mission supports the delivery of quality climate reference station data to the NOAA Climate Monitoring and Observations Program. This work supports the delivery of tsunami warning buoy data to the NOAA Tsunami Program. This combined synopsis/solicitation is in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Parts 12 and 13 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested for Request for Quote Number QA133W-11-RP-0079 (see attached RFP). The National Data Buoy Center intends to award a single firm fixed price contract as a small business set-aside. Tentative award date is March 21, 2011. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Evaluation will be in accordance with FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation-Commercial Items (JAN 1999). Award will be made to the responsible, responsive offeror whose offer will result in the best value to the Government based on the evaluation factors in FAR 52.212-2 All offerors must be registered in Central Contractors Registration, CCR, to be considered for an award with the Federal Government.
