Description
Solicitation Number: DTFAEN-11-R-00057 For Land Surveying Services and Civil Engineering Services at the Fort Lauderdale Air Surveillance Radar Site -9 (ASR-9) located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida Estimated performance time: 30 calendar daysDue date for Offers: March 18, 2011Estimated price range: $25,000.00 to $100,000.00 This procurement will be conducted using a Tiered Ordered Evaluation describe in Section M of the solicitation. When responding to this Screening Information Request/Request For Offer (SIR/RFO), each offeror is required to submit a technical proposal and a cost proposal in accordance with the Screening Information Request (SIR) provision in Section L entitled, "Instructions for Preparation of Proposals." The NAICS code for this acquisition is 541370, Surveying and Mapping ( except Geophysical) Services. Contractors and the small business size standard is $4.5 million. To be considered for award of this project, the contractor must be currently registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database (website: www.ccr.gov). In accordance with SIR Section L provision 3.2.2.3-14 entitled, "Late Submissions, Modifications, and Withdrawals of Submittals," any proposals received after the due time and date of 4:00 p.m. ET, March 18, 2011 will not be considered. In addition, if all requested information is not furnished in the offeror's proposal, the offeror's proposal may be determined to be non-responsive and ineligible for consideration for contract award. This SIR/RFO is not to be construed as a contract or a commitment of any kind. The Government shall not be liable for payment of any costs attributed to the preparation and submission of requested proposal documentation. Notice: This notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-own concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation -related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at the prime interest rate to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
