Description

This is a SOURCES SOUGHT notice. Please note that this is not a request for SF330's or proposals, the Government is seeking information for market research purposes only. The Government may or may not issue solicitation documents. The Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center (RLR VAMC), Indianapolis, IN, is conducting a market survey for qualified Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) that are capable of providing the required A/E services outlined below for the RLR VA Medical Center located in Indianapolis, Indiana. Applicable NAICS code is 541330 size standard $4.5 million. Description of work to be performed includes: The Architect/Engineer (A/E) firm shall provide all tools, equipment, material, labor and supervision necessary to provide professional services to design mechanical/HVAC and electrical portion of energy efficiency upgrades to the cooling tower system at the Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center, 1481 West Tenth Street, Indianapolis, Indiana. The existing design of the tower system will need to be reviewed and electrical and cooling load requirements may need to be revised to obtain maximum energy efficiency. VA HVAC design criteria, VA Master Specifications and drawings of the existing equipment will be provided. A/E construction period services will be required. Design Time Completion: 45 calendar days from receipt of the Notice to Proceed. All responses to this notice must submit the following: social economic category of the respondent, name and address of company, name and phone number of contact person, and the company's DUNS number. Prospective firms are reminded that in accordance with FAR 52.219-14, at least 50 percent of the cost of contract performance incurred for personnel shall be expended for employees of the concern. Responses to this notice must be submitted in writing (email or fax is acceptable) and received no later than March 14, 2011. No telephone inquires will be accepted. The Government is under no obligation to award a contract as a result of this sources sought announcement. Interested firms will be required to respond to additional announcements separately from this announcement without further notice from the Government when posted to http://www.fbo.gov.
