- This is a pre-solicitation notice for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Synopsis is as follows. A separate written solicitation M67400-11-T-0045 will be issued as a Request for Quotation on or after 10 Mar 2011. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-49 and the Defense Federal Acquisition Supplement, current to DPN 20110302. DPAS Rating is DO-S10. The North American Industrial Classification System codes are 541690 and the business size standard is NTE 6.5 million. This procurement constitutes Item 0001 thru 0003. Required Item and Description are as follows. CLIN 0001: CRITICAL DAYS of SUMMER (CDS)TRAINING (22 Sessions) CLIN 0002: TRAVEL AND RELATED COSTS CLIN 0003: TRANSPORTATION OF EQUIPMENT USED FOR PURPOSES TO ENHANCE PRESENTATION The Contractor shall provide Critical Days of Summer (CDS) training at all major Marine Corps installations in Japan to include Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Iwakuni and Combined Arms Training Center (CATC) Camp Fuji from 9 - 19 May 2011 in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Topics shall include one or any combination of the following subjects: skateboarding/bicycle safety, sport injury prevention, heat stress and hydration. Training shall consist of 22 meaningful presentations lasting 45 minutes to one hour each. The Government may make single award to the responsible offer which is the most advantageous to the Government on the basis of best value evaluation process. The Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition. Responsible Offerors must be active in the Central Contractor Registration in accordance with DFARS 252.204-7004 unless you qualify under an exemption. DUNS, TIN and CAGE Code must be written on submitted proposal. The solicitation (Request for Quotation), when it is released it will be available electronically at the following web sites https://www.neco.navy.mil and/or http://www.fedbizopps.gov/ under solicitation M67400-11-T-0045. The solicitation also will be e-mailed upon a written request to the Point of Contact listed. Offers can be mailed, faxed, or e-mailed to the Contracting Office, U.S. Marine Corps RCO, MCB CAMP S. D.
