Description

The Naval Air Systems Command intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Delivery Order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-08-G-0010 on a sole source basis with Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation. This effort will include all labor and materials required to perform the non-recurring engineering required to develop Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) shipboard tie-down arrangements for the MH-60 Sierra aircraft as well as an analysis of the loads associated with those arrangements. This action is being awarded on a sole source basis to Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements;" because they are the only qualified source which possesses the detailed knowledge of the MH-60S design to allow them to perform these efforts in a timely and cost effective manner.
