PRESOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY*** The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Activity 8, Orlando Florida VA Medical Center (OVAMC) intends to solicit and negotiate a Construction, firm-fixed-price contract to remodeled/repurpose 2nd floor rooms 242, 243 and 247 located at the Orlando VA Medical Center, 5201 Raymond Street, Orlando Fl 32803. This project will redesign 2nd floor rooms 242, 243 and 247 in preparation of installation of new equipment going into the rooms. In the rooms 242 and 243, selected contractor will remove and replace existing floor and wall tile, modify existing plumbing to allow new wall finish work. Renovation of the room will include removing all bathroom fixtures, new wall and floor finsh and plumbing modification to support instalation of new stainless steel triple sink assembly, hand wash sink, emergency eye washer and detergent delivery containers. In room 247, selected contractor shall redesign bathroom layout into a decontamination room layout. The Estimated Cost Range for this project is $25,000 - $100,000. This acquisition will be awarded under the Veterans First Contracting Program as a total 100% set-aside to eligible Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) firms. The applicable North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code for this procurement is 238220 Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors and the Small Business size standard is $14.0 million. NOTICE THIS IS A SERVICE-DISABLED, VETERAN-OWNED, SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. PROSPECTIVE CONTRACTORS ARE CAUTIONED THAT ANY BID OR PROPOSAL SUBMITTED IN RESPONSE TO THIS SOLICITATION MUST MEET THE CRITERIA IDENTIFIED BY 38 CFR, PART 74. ANY PERSON, PERSONS, OR BUSINESS ENTITY SUSPECTED OF MISREPRESENTING ITSELF FOR THE PURPOSE OF SECURING A GOVERNMENT CONTRACT MAY BE CRIMINALLY INVESTIGATED AND PROSECUTED FOR FRAUD AGAINST UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.
