Description

Provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment and supervision to perform Install Lighting Retrofit, Project 557-10-107, at the Carl Vinson VA Medical Center, Dublin, GA, in accordance with drawings and specifications. Work includes but is not limited to re-lamp 32 watt T-8 fluorescent lamps in existing fluorescent fixtures with 25 watt T-8 fluorescent lamps. Add/modify lighting fixtures with 25 watt T-8 lamps. Replace dining 2X4 fluorescent lighting fixtures with 2X4 LED and LED down lighting and programmable dimming control. Replace retail store MR-16 track light heads with LED MR-16 equivalent. Replace A-19 incandescent and screw-in compact fluorescent lamps with LED equivalent lamps. Replace 26 down lights in building 10 with LED equivalent fixtures. Provide daylighting controls in main corridors. Provide LED down lighting in waiting areas throughout campus. Replace existing building 5 exterior canopies down lights with LED equivalent fixtures. Provide lighting control in patient area corridors. Cost range is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. NAICS Code 238221 Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors and size standard $14.0 million applies. The solicitation package and drawings should be available for download on or about March 25, 2011. No hard copies of the solicitation or drawings will be provided. This procurement is subject to the availability of funds. This is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Set-Aside. All responsible SDVOSB sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by DVA.
