- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, in conjunction with FAR 13.5, as applicable, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; Quotes are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is F11PS00453 The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-48. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 336612 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. This requirement is a 100% Small Business set-aside and only qualified offerors may submit bids. FOB Destination shall be Kodiak National Wildlife Refuge, 1390 Bushkin River road, Kodiak, Alaska, 99615 US Fish and Wildlife Service, Region 7 has a requirement for aluminum skiff with the following specifications: "Vessel length a minimum of 17 feet and a maximum of 19 feet from bow to transom"Beam 84 inches or greater"Bottom width 56 inches or greater"Depth (gunwale to keel) minimum of 28 inches at midship and transom "Hull gauge.100 inches or greater at bottom,.08 inches or greater at sides"Aluminum, all welded construction (no rivets)"Maximum capacity 1350 lbs. or greater "Console controls for steering, throttle, shifting and electric/hydraulic raising/lowering of outboard motor "Four stroke outboard motor, 50-60 horsepower controlled via console"Fuel tank may be external or under deck"Configuration should include console seat and two bench style seats Failure to comply with the below terms and conditions may result in offer being determined as non-responsive. New Equipment ONLY; NO remanufactured or "gray market" items. All items must be covered by the manufacturer's warranty. Boat will arrive in Kodiak, Alaska by April 15, 2011 Shipping must be free on board (FOB) destination, which means that the seller must deliver the goods on its conveyance at the destination specified by the buyer, and the seller is responsible for the cost of shipping and risk of loss prior to actual delivery at the specified destination. All shipping costs must be included in quote or listed as a separate line item.
