Description
Solicitation No. VA-245-11-RP-0076. The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a construction contractor to furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and design-build services to renovate a portion of the 3C area in Building 500 in 2 phases. The NW area will be Phase 1 and the SW area will be Phase 2. This project will design and modify the existing finishes to convert the existing layout into a Geriatric Clinic. Any and all divisions of work are to be included to achieve this work while maintaining the performance standards of all systems as required by VA Guide specifications. Floor tile and ductwork mastic is presumed asbestos containing material and shall be removed accordingly where necessary. This project is located at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 510 Butler Avenue, Martinsburg, WV. Project Number is 613-11-114. Competition for this procurement is 100% Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business set-aside. The work includes, but is not limited to, the design and install of plumbing, mechanical and electrical work for private patient baths. Estimated construction cost range is $250,000 to $500,000.00. The firm must be a General Construction firm approved under NAICS: 236220, size standard: $33.5 million. The offeror shall obtain any and all necessary licenses or permits required to perform this work in the State of WV. Prospective contractors must be registered and current in the following websites: http://www.vip.vetbiz.gov, http://www.ccr.gov, and https://orca.bpn.gov to be eligible for award. Technical and Cost proposals will be accepted from only responsible and responsive contractors. The project duration is expected to be 315 days from the date of receipt of the notice to proceed. Prospective contractors may acquire solicitation documents, which are only available in.pdf electronic format by registering and downloading plans and specifications from the FedBizOpps website www.fbo.gov. The procurement is subject to availability of funds.
