- The US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Jacksonville District, is soliciting quotes for the purchase of DOT Lime Rock, to be delivered to a location north of Belle Glade, Florida off of State Route 715 between Old Vandergrift Road and Hatcher Highway. The NAICS code will be 212311 - Dimension Stone Mining and Quarrying, size standard is 500 employees. The FSC code will be 9620 - Minerals Natural and Synthetic. Solicitation W912EP-11-T-0019 will be posted on FedBizOpps on or about 14 March 2011 and offers will be due on or about 28 March 2011. The title of this solicitation will be DOT Lime Rock, HHD FA 1 and 6. Point of contact: John Vohlken, Contract Specialist, telephone number 904-232-1884, email john.d.vohlken@usace.army.mil. Mailing address is 701 San Marco Blvd, Jacksonville, Florida 32207-8175. This acquisition will be a Small Business Set Aside. The Contractor shall provide a total of 1,910 tons of DOT Lime Rock. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to provide DOT Lime Rock as defined in the Description of Supplies. A firm-fixed price commercial item contract is considered for this acquisition. The contract award will be for a lump sum base year with no options. The estimated magnitude for this requirement is between $10,000 and $25,000. In order to receive notification of any amendments to this solicitation, interested vendors must REGISTER TO RECEIVE NOTIFICATION on the Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. If you are not registered, the Government is not responsible with providing you with notification of any changes to this solicitation. Registration Requirements: DFARS 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration (CCR), applies to this procurement. You must be registered in the CCR in order to be eligible to receive an award from this solicitation. Prospective contractors must be registered in the Department of Defense CCR database prior to award. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for award.
