- The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention National Center on Birth Defects and Developmental Disabilities (NCBDDD), contemplate a sole source award to the Diagnostica Stago Incorporated, Parsippany, NJ. The contractor shall provide 1) STA-R Evolution Expert Series Cat#58978 3) Powervar 3.0 KVA UPS 20 Amp Cat#80617 3) On-Site Technical Assistance (1 Day). The statutory authority for this sole source acquisition is 41 U.S.C. 253-a (a) (1), in accordance with FAR Part 13.106-1(b) only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirement. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 339112, Surgical and medical Instrument Manufacturing, with a Standard Business Size of 500. As a result of this synopsis, no competitive solicitation will be posted on FedBizOpps. The Governemt will issue only one solicitation to the Diagnostica Stago Incorporated. However, all responsible sources that believe they can meet the requirements stated above, are encouraged to submit their capabilities/qualification statement to the Attention: of Matthew Ellington, by email at mce8@cdc.gov. Facsimile proposals are not authorized. If responding by email, the subject line must include the following language "Proposal for RFQ#2010-Q-93943. All inquiries must be received no later than 4:00 PM Eastern Standard Time, March 25, 2011. Determination not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The U.S. Government assumes no financial obligation for the preparation and distribution of prepared responses.
