- This is a Special Notice for a Site Visit to be held 7 April 2011 at the Makua Military Reservation (MMR), located at Waianae, Hawaii. The US Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground (Soldier, Chemical, Research & Test) (ACC-APG(SCRT)), Aberdeen Installation Contracting Division, will host a site visit in support of the US Army Environmental Command (USAEC) which has a requirement for environmental remediation services for the US Army Environmental Cleanup Program (AECP) and the Operational Range Assessment Program (ORAP). The AECP includes the following subprograms: Installation Restoration Program (IRP), Military Munitions Response Program (MMRP), Compliance-Related Cleanup Program (CRP), and the Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) Environmental Restoration Program. The Army intends to award a performance-based environmental remediation multiple award (ERMA) Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ), for the AECP and ORAP. The Army intends to award two portfolios: one portfolio set-aside for small business and one portfolio to be competed on an unrestricted basis. A sample task order for Environmental Remediation Services at Makua is anticipated to be included in the evaluation criteria for the ERMA IDIQ. The Makua site visit is scheduled for 7 April 2011 and is intended for all interested contractors. The site visit is anticipated to begin at 8:00 am and last the entire day. Additional information on meeting location and schedule will be provided at a later date. Transportation will NOT be provided by the Government to the meeting location or the site. Attendees will caravan to the site. For the site visit, a 4WD vehicle is required. POVs are not allowed on the site, but company vehicles or rental vehicles are allowed. Each company is restricted to no more than 2 attendees. Please provide your RSVP no later than 4:00pm EST, 30 March 2011. Include in your RSVP the full names of each attendee and the company; attendees' citizenship status; attendees' phone number; attendees' email address; and confirmation of your company's status as a domestic firm. Attached to this announcement is the Draft Performance Work Statement for the Makua sample task order.
