Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number, Q5260110006, is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This procurement is being issued as a 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE IAW FAR 19.502-2 (a). The NAICS is 441222 with a size standard of $7 million. The National Park Service intends to issue a Fixed Price contract to provide two ferry boats to be delivered to St. Augustine, Florida. The anticipated delivery date is 180 calendar days from the date of award. All items will be purchased under a single order. Contractor shall provide the following items: Line Item 0001 - Vessels must conform to the following specifications1. Approved by U.S. Coast Guard, under 46 CFR Sub. Chapter T 2. Capable of carrying 35 passengers and a crew of 23. Saltwater grade aluminum hull4. V bottom sponson hulls for pontoons5. Sealed bulkheads with U.S. Coast Guard required inspection ports6. Twin outboard motor mounts7. Twin outboard engines, 150 hp Mercury Optimax, 2 stroke. One engine will be counter rotation (or equal)8. Canopy for protection of passengers from weather9. Independent hydraulic steering and fuel sources for each motor10. Captain's helm with windshield, 12 v jack and adjustable seating11. Passenger seating, bus style, made of aluminum12. U.S. Coast Guard approved navigation lighting13. Interior illumination system14. Exterior safety railing system for passenger safety15. Capable of bow and side loading of passengers16. Non slip decking17. Batter board on bow and sides of vessel18. Engine cowl protection for each motor19. Speaker system and loudhailer2o. Depth finder21. U.S. Coast Guard and CFR required equipment:22. 36 adult and 36 child life preservers, batteries, life ring and strobe, 2 anchors with chain and 200' of line, required fire extinguishers, fire pail, flairs, bell and other required equipment 23. Quotes must be submitted by completely filling in the DELIVERED pricing and company information above. Pricing must include, at a minimum, unit price, extended price, delivery time, etc. All quotations must be signed by an authorized company official.
