Description
Expressions of Interest Sought Requirement : The United States Government is seeking 58 assigned parking spaces in Minneapolis, MN. The garage, surface lot or ramp should be within close proximity of the Minneapolis Federal Office Building located at 212 3 rd Avenue South. The lease term requirement is for 4 years, 3 years firm. The parking must be available for occupancy by May 16, 2011. The delineated area is within downtown Minneapolis, MN via the following boundaries: 1 st Street North to the North, 6 th Street to the South, 5 th Avenue South to the East and 2 nd Avenue North to the West. Expressions of Interest must be submitted to the above address by 5:00 PM CST on March 22, 2011 and must include the following information: Building name and address of parking site. Date of parking space availability. Amount of parking available on-site and the monthly cost per vehicle. Indicate whether the monthly rate includes taxes. Offered parking space must meet Government requirements for Handicapped Accessibility and lighting (if applicable). Building ownership information. Parking structure features (ie access card, roving security, camera monitored, skyway connection, cashier etc.) The federal government is seeking parking space for federal employees and 24/7 access is required for the garage, surface lot or ramp. Submissions by other than the owner or manager of a property must be accompanied by a letter from the owner granting permission to make a general offering of the space. The General Services Administration will not be using a tenant broker to represent the Government in parking lease negotiations.
