- Synopsis: The Bureau of Engraving & Printing is issuing a Sources Sought Notice to determine if there are any Service-Disabled /Veteran-Owned, Competitive (8), Women-Owned or Total Small Businesses that can provide all labor and materials to design, construct and install a new clean room at the Bureau of Engraving and Printing's Western Currency Facility located in Ft. Worth, Texas. The scope of the project involves the contractor to provide all labor and materials to design, construct and install a secure Class 100,000, single pass clean room and emergency drench shower at the Western Currency Facility designed to screen incoming mail per security requirements. The room shall be approximately 20'x12'x8' in size and pre-wired with electrical outlets and switches that include a wall-mounted 18,000 BTU unit to provide HVAC. The room shall accommodate a government furnished down draft table and two glove boxes. This Sources-Sought / Request For Information (RFI) is for planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a Request For Proposal or as an obligation on the part of the Government to acquire follow-on acquisitions. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this Sources Sought, or otherwise pay for the information requested. No entitlement to payment of direct or indirect costs or charges by the Government will arise as a result of submission of responses to this Sources Sought and Government use of such information.
