- In a continuing effort to promote and facilitate open communication with industry,NASA Johnson Space Center (NASA/JSC) will provide contractors an additional opportunityto attend one-on-one discussions with members of the Aircraft Maintenance and OperationalSupport (AMOS) Procurement Development Team (PDT) on March 31, 2011. Meetings will be held at the JSC Industry Assistance Office in Building 111, which islocated on-site at JSC. One-on-one communication opportunities will be scheduled from9:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. The AMOS procurement includes support for aircraft at NASA's Lyndon B. Johnson SpaceCenter (JSC) located at Ellington Field in Houston and El Paso, Texas, and Edwards AirForce Base in Edwards, California. Additional support will be provided to NASA aircraftlocated at Langley Research Center (LaRC), Hampton, Virginia and other remote sites,domestic and foreign, where services are required.Current aircraft to be supported by AMOS include:* Twenty Northrop T-38 supersonic jet trainers* Two General Dynamic WB-57 aircraft * One Aero Spacelines SGT-337 Super Guppy* Three Gulfstream GII/GIII aircraft* One Cessna 206* One Lancair Columbia 300* One Cirrus Design SR-22 * One North American Rockwell OV-10A* One Bell UH-1H helicopter* One Boeing 747 aircraft* One Douglas C-9B* One Beechcraft C-12/B200 aircraftA requirement summary for the AMOS acquisition is provided on the AMOS website athttp://procurement.jsc.nasa.gov/AMOS/. An online technical library for the AMOSprocurement is also available via the AMOS website. It is the potential offerorsresponsibility to monitor the website for updates to the technical library.GOALS: The goals of the additional opportunity for one-on-one discussions are to:1. Promote competition on the proposed new AMOS acquisition.2. Allow NASA/JSC to better utilize industry input to improve the future Request forProposal (RFP).The additional opportunity to attend one-on-one discussions is open to all firms that areinterested in pursuing contracting/subcontracting opportunities on the AMOS procurementwhether they have performed work at JSC or not. All interested parties are encouraged toattend. However, attendance is not required.No photos or recording devices are permitted during the one-on-ones sessions.ONE-ON-ONE SESSIONS: The purpose of the additional one-on-one meetings is to allow industry an opportunity toprovide input on any aspect of the AMOS procurement in which it wishes to provideadditional input. The meetings are intended to be question and answer sessions in whichthe Government will not be making a formal presentation.Any company may request a one-on-one meeting. Meetings will not exceed one hour inlength and attendance is limited to four persons. Scheduling of appointment times will beon a first-come, first-served basis. Appointments will be scheduled in one-hourincrements between 9:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. on March 31. Guidance for conduct during the One-on-One communications is attached to this posting asAttachment 1: Additional One-on-One Communications with Industry Guidance. SIGN-UP REQUIREMENTS:To make reservations for the additional one-on-one sessions, please contact Alice J.Pursell and Roger M. Roberts at alice.j.pursell@nasa.gov and roger.m.roberts@nasa.gov.The request shall include the following information: i. Subject line: 'AMOS Additional One-On-One Session RSVP'ii. Companys name and address. iii. The companys Point of Contacts (POC) names, telephone numbers, and e-mailaddresses.iv. The e-mail must state the names and titles of attendees (limited to four) from yourcompany that intends to attend the one-on-one breakout sessions. Any special timerequests, with justification (will only be accommodated as practical). Companies will be notified on or before Wednesday, March 30 of their assigned meetingtime. (Should the number of firms requesting meetings exceed the time available on March31, other meeting times will be arranged as soon as is practical). v. E-mail reservations must be received by 4:00 p.m. CDT on Tuesday, March 29, 2011.
