- Description
- The work includes, but is not limited to, furnishing all labor, supervision, management, tools, materials, equipment, facilities, transportation, incidental engineering, and other items necessary to provide transportation equipment repair services, including minor and major repairs to body, painting/marking, fenders, frames, trim, glass, hardware, lubrication, markings, operating fluids, and truck beds/racks. The Contractor shall provide all services at their own facility. Procurement Method: Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation/Solicitation for Commercial Items. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 811121 and the annual size standard is $7,000,000. The contract term will be a base period of one year plus four option years. Only the base period of the contract will offer a minimum guarantee. If the Government does not award a follow-on contract in time, the Government may require the Contractor to continue performance for an additional period up to six months under the Option to Extend Services clause. In either case, the Government will not synopsize the options when exercised. IDIQ work may be issued via the DOD EMALL, a web-based ordering system, using Government purchase cards. This contract will replace a contract for similar services awarded in 2006 for $667,930 (maximum value per year). Information about the current contract and the incumbent contractor (e.g., value of last option exercised, firm name, address, etc.) will be included in the solicitation package. Requests under the Freedom of Information Act are not required for this information. Offerors can view and/or download the solicitation, and any attachments, at https://www.neco.navy.mil/ when it becomes available. All interested offerors shall register at the website. No notice of solicitation activity will be provided to interested offerors. The proposed contract listed here is 100 percent small business set-aside. The Government will only accept offers from small business concerns. The solicitation utilizes source selection procedures which require offerors to submit a technical proposal and a price proposal for evaluation by the Government.
