Description
The USGS Alaska Science Center has a requirement for services for the refurbishment and upgrade to include all labor, tools, personnel and management necessary to ensure work. The government intends to award this requirement noncompetitively per FAR 13.106-1(b), (1) to Telonics of Mesa, AZ. Collars must be refurbished and upgraded by Telonics because the design of the collar is proprietary. To our knowledge Telonics is the only known vendor that holds the rights to the design and repair of the collars. Other interested concerns having the ability to furnish these services shall submit a capabilities statement to the Contracting Officer no later than 18 Mar 2011. All submissions will be evaluated to determine if competitive opportunities exist. This is not an RFQ. This does represent the Government's only written notice of this procurement. All responsible sources may submit a response which if timely, must be considered by the agency.
