- Description
- This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation for Commercial Items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is unrestricted and the NAICS Code for this requirement is 511210. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-21. The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price contract to procure "brand name or equal" of AppTitude application software platform. The descriptive literature or salient functionality of the product are the following: 1.) Automate pre-migration application testing and intelligently remediates compatibility issues 2.) accelerate application testing and remediation for windows 7, application virtualization and application management projects 3.) facilitates even more automation of the application delivery process and streamlines the application request process from business application owner to low-touch packaging, deployment and testing 4.) deep interrogation, intelligent remediation, action-based reporting, heuristic analyis, full customization, total estate coverage and package generation. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Offerors are to include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with the quote. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation. The following technical factors shall be used to evaluate offers, not listed in order of precedence: (1) Adherence to the required items; and (2) lowest price technically acceptable. All questions regarding this solicitation must be submitted in writing and must reference the solicitation number. All quotes must be received in this office by 12:00 p.m. EST on March 22, 2011, addressed to the Attention of Mr. Tony Sixon, Contract Specialist via email @ antonio.sixon@dtra.mil or Sherrell Josey Purchasing Agent via email @ sherrell.josey@dtra.mil no later than 12:00PM EST on March 22, 2011.
