- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) and the reference number is 11TC395. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-12 and DFARS change notice 20090825.. The Offeror must be an authorized dealer and must quote on an all or none basis. Written quotes are required (oral offers will not be accepted). Submission of quotes must be in accordance with FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors, Commercial Items. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror, whose offer is the best value and the most advantageous to the Government which is conforming to the solicitation. Please include CAGE Code, DUNS, Tax Identification Number, FOB Point, and Discount Terms. Availability and how long it will take to ship to Lackland AFB, TX. Quotes must be valid for 60 days. Description of Services Contractor is to provide all materials, labor, and resources necessary to provide leased Digital Satellite Service to Wilford Hall Medical Center for 300 Televisions. 1.1- The contractor shall provide and install the Digital Signal, Satellite Dishes (2 EACH), Receivers (20 EACH) and Modulators (20 EACH). 1.2- Contractor shall coordinate with incumbent contractor for purchase/removal/installation of contractor leased equipment. 1.3- Contractor shall maintain digital signal and all equipment and cabling up to the head-end equipment cabinets. The Receivers and Modulators shall have a printed Identification sticker installed. 1.4- Contractor shall provide Digital Signal for the following networks: Premium- MSNBC, CNN, TBS, The Learning Channel, Discovery Channel, USA, TNT, The Weather Channel, Cartoon Network, Nicktoons, Disney Channel, and Fox News. Local- ABC KSAT, CBS KENS, NBC WOAI, FOX KABB, PBS KLRN, TELEMUNDO KVDA, UPN KBEJ, and CW WRRT. 2.1- The Government shall provide and maintain cabling from head-end cabinet to television jacks. 2.2- Government shall convert Digital Signal to Government-owned televisions for both Analog and High Definition. 2.3- The regular duty hours is an 8 hour day, 0730 - 1630 Hours, Monday-Friday. 2.4- The Response Time to a service call is within One Hour after receipt of notification. 3.1- Government point of contact for Wilford Hall Medical Center is Jimmy Tucker, (210) 292-7210.
