Description
Maintenance and repair of Hobart Auto and Low Volume Wrappers. This solicitation is being issued as a sole-source, firm fixed price contract under authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and no Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Requirements on an all or none basis to Hobart Corporation. Service is required at approximately 65 Defense Commissary Agency stores located throughout the continental United States. The contract will be for a base period starting June 1, 2011 ending May 31, 2012 with three one-year options ending May 31, 2015. The RFP will be posted on the FedBizOpps at www.fedbizopps.gov. Offerors may obtain a copy of the solicitation at this site. The NAICS code is 811219 Business Size Standard is $6.5 million for this requirement. Responsible, interested parties may identify their interest by submitting relevant information in response to this notice in writing, which should include a capability statement to show experience in providing maintenance and repair of Hobart auto and low volume wrapping systems and the ability to obtain Hobart repair parts. Firms may submit a capability statement within fifteen (15) calendar days of publication of this notice. A determination not to complete this requirement is entirely at the discretion of the Government. By submission of required information, the offeror acknowledges that a prospective awardee must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award of any contract resulting from this solicitation.
