- The Department of Homeland Security offers free Vendor Outreach Sessions (VOS) once a month for the small business community. These Vendor Outreach Sessions offer fifteen minute appointments one-on-one with the small business specialists at the eight components comprising Homeland Security. Also in attendance will be several Prime Contractors who have current contracts with the Department. The May Vendor Outreach Session will be held at: The Holiday Inn Capitol 550 C Street, SW Washington, DC 20024 Columbia Ballroom Date: May 12, 2011 Time: 9:00 am -12:45 pm Registration will be on May 3, 2011 at 12:00 noon Eastern Time A registration profile of your company is required before registering for the May event. Registration website is at: http://www.dhsvoms.moriassociates.com Directions: From (I-66 East, Virginia): Take I-66 East toward Washington, DC. Cross the Theodore Roosevelt Bridge. I-66 East will turn into Constitution Avenue NW. Take Constitution Avenue NW to 7th Street NW. Turn right onto 7th Street NW to Independence Avenue SW. Turn left onto Independence Avenue SW to 6th Street SW. Turn right onto 6th Street SW to C Street SW, turn left onto C Street SW. The hotel is on the corner of 6th & C Street SW. The hotel's main entrance is on C Street SW. From Maryland take US-50 W to Washington DC, entering the District of Columbia. Turn left at I-395 S. Take the exit toward Virginia Ave. SW, then a slight right at Virginia Ave. SW. Turn right at 4th Str. SW. Take 1st left onto C Street SW. The closest Metro is the L'Enfant Plaza Metro stop.
